During the traveling exhibition of Bauhaus for celebrating its 100-year anniversary in 2019, we curated a small gallery space named Finding Bauhaus in Niigata. It is held to introduce products made in Niigata with the help of Niigata Industrial Creation Organization which supports manufacturing industry. The idea is to show a selection in the context of Bauhaus in modern sense. The exhibition space is planned and color-coordinated based on the idea of a class given by Wassily Kandinsky in Bauhaus about the relationship between color and form.
